Melanie and Kristian got married at the stunning Gosfield Hall in Essex. This wedding venue is a huge Georgian mansion with ten acres of grounds, it has amazing interiors and lots of accommodation for guests. It was October so the weather wasn't great but the indoor space at the venue meant they didn't have to worry.
The girls got ready in The Rococo Suite in the morning before heading down to The Grand Salon for their wedding ceremony. They had a beautiful ceremony with their young daughter as the ring bearer. Afterwards they had their drinks reception in the wood panelled library, we took some group shots just outside with the grounds behind them. Just before the wedding breakfast I went for a walk with the couple around the grounds for some couple shots. Then we headed up to the ballroom to see the room before the guests came in. It's an amazing room with wood panelled walls, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and large mirrors. They had their three course meal before the speeches. The father of the bride, the best man, the bride and her daughter all done lovely speeches and then everyone was sent downstairs for the evening reception. After the speeches had finished I noticed some sunlight coming through, it has been cloudy all day so I got the bride and groom to quickly come outside for some sunset photos, we had 5 minutes of sunlight and I'm really happy with the photos we got. Then they went and got changed into their evening outfits, the bride had a new dress and the groom had a new suit jacket. It was completely dark out so we took a few flash photos outside and then headed back in for their first dance. After some time on the dance floor they got everyone gathered round for the cake cut. They had an incredible 8 tier wedding cake made by White Blossom Bakes, three of the tiers were real cake and the rest were dummy tiers.
