Nina + Glen | Intimate Pub Wedding in Petworth

Nina and Glen got married after being together for 10 years and having two lovely children. They got married in Guildford Registry Office with their close family who showered them in confetti as they left as husband and wife. After some group shots everyone drove back to Lurgashall, Petworth for the wedding reception. They chose to have the reception at the Noah's Ark Inn Pub as it's a very special place to them; it's where they had their first date and where they got engaged so to have their wedding there would bring it full circle. It's a lovely pub with a stretch tent and a beautiful view of the village green. Inside the tent they had rustic LOVE letters, wooden benches, flowers, the wedding cake, the DJ booth, a sweet station with two mini donut walls, and string lights on the ceiling which made it feel romantic. They had personalised love heart sweets as their wedding favours which went down a treat. The cake was made by Aimee's Bakes, it looked stunning, it was a three tier semi naked cake with flowers and gold leaf to decorate, and a gold cake topper with the bride and groom's initials on which I loved. They had it framed by a metal arch with material drapes and flowers. The catering team at the Noah's Ark Inn cooked an amazing hog roast, they had a buffet with pork rolls, roast potatoes and pizza.

As the sun was beginning to set I took the bride and groom off for some couple portraits. We had a walk around the beautiful village green before heading back for the cake cut and first dance. The cake was taken inside and cut up for the guests whilst they joined in on the dance floor. The DJ was from Enigma Entertainment and they got everyone up on the dance floor by playing their favourite country songs. When it got dark out we lined everyone up for the sparkler exit, it's really tricky lighting lots of sparklers at the same time but I had some help from the catering team and their blow torch. It was a really fun day, thank you to Nina and Glen for having me as their photographer!
