Lucy and Aidan had their wedding at South Lodge Hotel in Horsham. They were originally going to get married in a different venue in July but they decided to move it forward to February as they found out they are expecting their first child, how exciting! Luckily we were blessed with great weather so it didn't matter that it wasn't July.

The bridal party, groomsmen and other family and friends all got ready at The Old Tollgate Hotel in Bramber. It was really nice having everyone in one place, it made it easy for me to take getting ready photos of both the bride and groom. Lucy, her mum and her sister had their makeup done by Belle Denbury and their hair by Occasion Hair by Megan. Belle and Megan were great, they made everyone laugh and feel comfortable which is exactly what you need on the morning of a wedding. I went downstairs to see the guys and they were all dressed so I took them outside to do some group shots as we had lots of time. They had a wedding car for the bride and a coach to take everyone else to the venue.

We arrived at South Lodge Hotel ready for the ceremony, everyone gathered downstairs and took their seats. Lucy's dad walked her down the aisle and gave Aidan a hug when they got to the front. I love how close their families are, they already seemed like one big family before the wedding. Their families gave them a huge cheer after the first kiss, it was amazing! After the ceremony they got everyone outside ready for confetti. They handed out loads of dried petals and got absolutely covered as they walked through! During the drinks reception they had champagne and canapés. Some of the wedding guests made use of the indoor football table and table tennis table which were also popular in the evening. They were lucky with the weather as they were able to have the drinks reception outside on the lawn. We took their group shots on the grass and then walked around the grounds for their couple photos.

"We would 100% recommend Phoebe to everyone, she is so efficient, friendly and her photos are absolutely gorgeous! If you like a mixture of both candid and staged photos then Phoebe does this perfectly, we loved the candid photos the most as they completely showed peoples genuine emotions during the day and are something we will cherish forever! She was also so incredibly helpful before the wedding offering her support for recommending suppliers and checking if we needed help with any planning! Thank you Phoebe!"

They were called in by Toastmaster Dan for the wedding breakfast. They had a delicious three course meal and then speeches after. Just before speeches I took the couple out for a few more couple portraits before it was completely dark. Then we had speeches from the father of the bride and his sister, the bride, the bride's sister and the best man. Then a toast from the Toastmaster before they headed out for the evening reception.

Whilst the staff turned the room around ready for the dance floor and band the wedding guests hung out in the lounge area playing games and drinking. Once the quick room turn around was done it was time to cut the 'cake'. They had a tower of profiteroles so they had to cut one on the bottom tier. Then everyone circled around the dance floor ready for the first dance. The band played 'I Try' by Macy Gray for the first dance and then they invited everyone to join them. The dance floor was packed, everyone was joining in which was so cool to see! What an amazing wedding.
