There are lots of hotels available but I'm going to show you some more interesting venues that you may not have thought of.
First, the legal bit. Brighton town hall is the perfect place for your wedding ceremony. Whether you're eloping or having a big wedding, they have a few different rooms to accommodate different size weddings. It's a lovely, modern venue and it's super close to the beach which is a great place for your couple portraits. There are plenty of restaurants and venues near by you can use for your wedding reception as listed below.

Patterns is a club opposite Brighton pier with a stunning view of the seafront. It's a cool, modern venue with art deco design features, large windows, exposed brick, warm wooden panelling, a bar, a basement and outdoor space. The outdoor space and ground floor is great area for your drinks reception as it has views of the beach and you have access to their bar. The ground floor is the perfect place for your wedding breakfast, there is a low stage where you can have your tables set up. They have their own bar and they team up with some great caterers providing you the option of a three course meal, relaxed sharing platters or a BBQ. The basement is the place for your first dance and evening reception as it's designed for DJs and live performances. It's a really cool venue best suited to couples who want a relaxed, fun wedding at a club by the beach.

Fabrica is a unique wedding venue in the centre of Brighton on Ship Street. The building is a former church so it has lots of great features like a 10.5m high ceiling, an overhead balcony, and stained glass windows. This venue is pretty much a blank canvas so you can get as creative as you like decorating it, you can make it unique to you. As it is a blank canvas you will need to hire everything you need like tables and chairs, lighting, a PA system, and caterers. They offer three day hire which is great as it means you have a day to set up and a day to take down. They have the capacity for 130 guests, they are fully licensed to serve alcohol and their music licence goes until midnight.

5. Pizza Pilgrims
The Amalfi Mezzanine is on the top floor of Pizza Pilgrims, it's got colourful furniture and walls with a glass ceiling. It's on Ship Street so it's in the centre of town, not far from the Town Hall or the beach. Me and my partner LOVE pizza especially from Pizza Pilgrims so this venue would be ideal for us. It's great for couples who want a relaxed wedding breakfast. The mezzanine can seat up 60 guests and you can also hire their indoor mini football pitch and gaming room for more fun.

7. The Mesmerist
The Mesmerist is a stylish pub opposite Brighton Town Hall. They have a few different spaces available to hire; the birdcage, the flipside and the roof garden. The Birdcage is a cool bar on the first floor with a large open plan space where they can set up a seating plan to suit you. It can fit 40 seated guests. Catering is done onsite by The Vital Ingredient who make authentic Caribbean cuisine. They can serve buffets or set menus depending on the group size. The flipside is retro lounge on the first floor; the space features a full bar, two lounge areas, its own toilets and an outside smoking terrace. I think this area would best suit an evening reception, it can fit 70 guests standing. The roof garden can be used in summer and winter, in the winter it is heated and covered. It has it's own bar and it has the capacity for 60 guests.
